Volvo launched production from 2010 of cars model S80, modification T4 Summum and finished it in 2011. This 4-door sedan has a length of 4.9 meters, weight 1.4 tons and is destined to fit 5 men including the driver.

«S80 T4 Summum» vehicle with a 6-speed manual gearbox is connected to the front wheels. This car can speed up for 8.5 seconds to 100 km/h, with a max speed of 220 km/h, due to a 4-cylinders petrol motor engine with a «direct injection fuel system», which produce a peak power of 180 horsepower at 5700 rpm.

Gas tank volume of this car is 70 l of petrol, therefore when average fuel consumption is 6.8 l per 100 km (5.5 l on the track, 9.1 l in the city), that allows to go approximately 1030 km unrefueled.

The forward wheels of this car have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and attached to the chassis through suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Rear wheels have disks, 302 mm brakes and fixed to the chassis with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the following measure - 225/50R17.

In conformity with the information of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Volvo S80 received the higher number of stars - five, which indicates that it is a highly safe vehicle. In addition to active safety systems (Brake assistant, EBD, Traction control, ESP, ABS), it is also equipped with passive safety (head/curtain, driver, passenger, side airbags).
