In 2008 Volvo launched manufacture of automobiles model C70, modification of 2.0D Momentum and closed it in 2009. The weight of the car is 1.6 tons and a length of 4.6 m, It is shaped as cabriolet with two doors, and can be fit in 4 person with a driver.

The front wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the underframe by dint of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Rear wheels have disks brakes and attached to the undercarriage using suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 235/45R17.

Volvo C70 is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to dynamic safety (ABS, EBD, ESP, Brake assistant, Traction control), it is also has passive systems of safety (driver, side, passenger, head/curtain airbags).
