Rear wheels have disks, 269 mm brakes and fixed to the chassis with help of suspension type «Semi-independent, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the following measure - 195/55R16.

In accordance with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Toyota Prius received the maximal quantity of stars - five, indicating that it is a very safe vehicle. Furthermore to passive safety features (side, head/curtain, driver, passenger airbags), it is also has dynamic safety features such as Brake assistant, Traction control, EBD, ESP, ABS.
