Introduced in the year 2003 the Megane Coupe-Cabrio from Renault was more specifically made for taking the place of Coupe initially introduced by the company of France in the year 1996. Unlike other vehicles of same type in its category the folding system of coupe was new and its design was made by the company from Germany known as Karmann. The car came with an option of 5 engines which initiated with 1.6 l 16 V and end at 2.0 l 16 V turbo delivering 163 hp. Initially the version was made for a period of 3 years and parent company replaced it in the year 2006 with updated version.

In the early part of 2006 the car maker from France introduced a newer model which moves behind a similar line of design like basic contemporary Megane from Renualt.

Initially introduced at the Frankfurt in the year 2013 the modified Coupe-Cabrio was presented for sale in the European region during the year 2014. Prominent changes in design were made to the anterior of the vehicle. Large diamond dominated at the anterior. Bumper on low side received a complete new design keeping in mind elegance. Some alterations have been introduced to the inside and range of engine.
