From 1977 Opel launched manufacture of automobiles model Rekord Caravan, modification of 2.0 S and finished it in 1982. This 5-door wagon has a length of 4.6 meters, weight 1.2 tons and is destined to fit 5 men including the driver.

Back wheels have drums brakes and fixed to the undercarriage with help of suspension «Rigid, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the next measure - 175SR14.

Opel Rekord Caravan is not certified for Euro NCAP crash test. This vehicle does not have passive and active safety systems.
