In 2007 Opel launched production of automobiles model Antara, modification of 2.0 CDTI Enjoy and terminated it in 2008. The weight of the car is 1.7 tons and a length of 4.6 meters, It is formed as SUV & Crossover with five doors, and may be placed in a 5 men including the driver.

«Antara 2.0 CDTI Enjoy» have a full wheel drive auto with a 5-speed manual gear shift. 4-cylinders diesel engine with «common rail fuel system» can generate power 150 hp at 4000 rmp, which allows you to speed up the auto for 10.3 s to 100 km/h and get ceiling speed of 180 km/h.

Fuel rate is 8.9 l in the city driving mode, on the track 6.8 liters, and the normal fuel rate is 7.5 l per 100 km. Gas tank volume is 65 liters of diesel, what allow you to drive about 867 km unrefueled.

The forward wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the underframe by dint of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Rearward wheels have disks brakes and fixed to the body chassis using suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the next measure - 235/60R17.

Opel Antara is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. In addition to active safety features (EBD, ESP, ABS, Brake assistant, Traction control), it is also equipped with passive safety (driver, side, head/curtain, passenger airbags).
