From 1988 Mercedes-Benz started manufacture of automobiles type SL-klasse, modification 500 SL and closed it in 1989. This vehicle has two doors, the body chassis is shaped like a cabriolet, weight 1.6 tons and length 4.4 meters, that can seat 5 people in sum.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the chassis using suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs». Back wheels have disks brakes and attached to the undercarriage using suspension type «Independent, coil springs». Tires have the following dimensions - 205/65VR15.

Mercedes-Benz SL-klasse is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. This vehicle does not have passive safety, and there is dynamic systems of safety - ABS.
