Mercedes-Benz launched production in 1993 of automobiles model E-klasse, modification E 200 Diesel and closed it in 1995. This automobile has four doors, the body chassis is shaped like a sedan, weight 1.3 tons and length 4.7 meters, which allows a seat 5 person in sum.

«E-klasse E 200 Diesel» car with a 5-speed manual transmission is fitted to the rear wheels. This automobile can be accelerated for 18.5 s to 100 km/h, with a max speed of 160 km/h, thanks to a 4-cylinders diesel motor engine with a «indirect injection system», which produce a max power of 75 horsepower at 4600 rpm.

Fuel tank capacity of this vehicle is 70 l of diesel, thus when intermediate fuel rate is 6.7 liters per 100 km, accordingly allows to go about 1045 kilometers unrefuelled.

The forward wheels of this model have disks brakes and fixed to the undercarriage with help of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Rearward wheels have disks brakes and fixed to the underframe using suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the next size - 185/65TR15.

Mercedes-Benz E-klasse is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. Furthermore to passive safety features (driver, passenger airbags), it is also equipped with active safety systems such as ABS.
