In 2002 Mercedes-Benz launched production of cars type C-klasse, modification of C 200 Kompressor Classic and closed it in 2004. This automobile has four doors, the body chassis is in the form a sedan, weight 1.4 tons and length 4.5 meters, that allows a seat 5 person in sum.

The front wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks, 288 mm brakes and attached to the chassis through suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Rearward wheels have disks, 278 mm brakes and attached to the chassis by dint of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the following dimensions - 195/65VR15.

In accordance with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Mercedes-Benz C-klasse gained the maximal quantity of stars - 5, which means that it is a highly safe vehicle. Furthermore to dynamic safety (Brake assistant, Traction control, EBD, ABS, ESP), it is also equipped with passive safety features (passenger, side, head/curtain, driver airbags).
