In 2002 Mazda launched manufacture of cars model MPV, modification of 2.3 Exclusive and terminated it in 2003. In this car can sit 7 men total, it has the body type of a minivan with five doors, and length 4.8 meters, weight 1.6 tons.

«MPV 2.3 Exclusive» have a front-wheel drive auto with a 5-speed manual gear shift. This auto can speed up for 12.8 seconds to 100 km/h, with a maximum speed of 180 km/h, due to a 4-cylinders petrol motor with a «multipoint injection fuel system», which generate a maximum output of 141 horsepower at 6000 rpm.

Fuel rate is 13.3 l in the city driving mode, on the highway 8.2 l, and the mixed fuel rate is 10.1 liters per 100 km. Fuel tank capacity is 70 liters of petrol, what allow you to go roughly 694 kilometers unrefuelled.

The forward wheels of this auto have ventilated disks, 274 mm brakes and attached to the underframe by dint of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Back wheels have drums, 254 mm brakes and fixed to the underframe by dint of suspension «Semi-independent, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 205/65R15.

Mazda MPV is not certified for crash test Euro NCAP. Furthermore to passive safety systems (driver, passenger, side airbags), it is also equipped with active safety features such as ABS, EBD, Traction control.
