From 2010 Mazda started manufacture of autos type 6 SportBreak, modification of 2.2 CiTD GT-M. This 5-door wagon has a length of 4.8 meters, weight 1.5 tons and is assigned to fit 5 passengers including the driver.

«6 SportBreak 2.2 CiTD GT-M» automobile with a 6-speed manual gear shift is fitted to the front-wheels. This vehicle can be accelerated for 8.5 s to 100 km/h, with a top speed of 216 km/h, due to a 4-cylinders diesel motor engine with a «common rail fuel system», which generate a max power of 180 horsepower at 3500 rpm.

Fuel tank capacity of this vehicle is 64 l of diesel, thus when mixed fuel rate is 5.4 l per 100 km (4.5 l on the track, 6.9 liters in the city), that allows to go approximately 1186 km unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this car have ventilated disks, 299 mm brakes and attached to the chassis by dint of suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Rearward wheels have disks, 280 mm brakes and fixed to the chassis with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Tires have the next measure - 225/45R18.

In accordance with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Mazda 6 SportBreak received the maximal quantity of stars - 5, which indicates that it is a very safe vehicle. In addition to passive safety systems (driver, passenger, head/curtain, side airbags), it is also has dynamic safety features such as Brake assistant, ABS, Traction control, EBD, ESP.
