From 2012 KIA launched manufacture of autos model Sportage, modification 2.0 CRDi AWD Comfort Pack. This 5-door SUV & Crossover has a length of 4.4 meters, weight 1.6 tons and is designed to sit 5 person including the driver.

«Sportage 2.0 CRDi AWD Comfort Pack» car with a 6-speed automatic gear shift is fitted to the full-wheels. The 4-cylinders diesel engine with «common rail system» can produce output 136 horsepower at 4000 rmp, allowing you to accelerate the vehicle in 12.1 s to 100 km/h and achieve ceiling speed of 181 km/h.

Gas tank volume of this auto is 58 l of diesel, so when average fuel consumption is 6.9 l per 100 km (5.8 liters on the highway, 8.7 l in the urban), accordingly allow you drive nearly 841 kilometers unrefuelled.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the undercarriage using suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Rear wheels have disks brakes and attached to the body chassis with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the following measure - 215/70R16.

KIA Sportage is not certified for Euro NCAP crash test. Furthermore to active safety features (Traction control, Brake assistant, EBD, ESP, ABS), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (passenger, driver, side, head/curtain airbags).
