In 2005 KIA launched manufacture of autos type Sportage, modification of 2.0 CRDi VGT 4WD Adventure and closed it in 2007. This automobile has five doors, the body is shaped like a SUV & Crossover, weight 1.7 tons and length 4.4 meters, that allows a seat 5 person in sum.

The front wheels of this vehicle have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the chassis by dint of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Back wheels have disks brakes and attached to the underframe with help of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Tires have the next measure - 235/60R16.

KIA Sportage is not certified for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to dynamic safety systems (EBD, ABS, Traction control), it is also has passive safety (passenger, driver, head/curtain, side airbags).
