Production modification 3.5 V6 of automobile models Opirus was launched in 2003 by KIA, and closed in 2008. This auto has four doors, the body is shaped like a sedan, weight 1.8 tons and length 5 meters, which allows a seat 5 person total.

«Opirus 3.5 V6» have a front wheel drive automobile with a 5-speed automatic transmission. This car can be accelerated for 9.2 seconds to 100 km/h, with a ceiling speed of 220 km/h, due to a 6-cylinders petrol motor with a «multipoint injection fuel system», which produce a peak power of 203 hp at 5500 rpm.

Fuel rate is 16.9 liters in the urban mode of driving, on the highway 8.2 liters, and the intermediate fuel consumption is 11.4 liters per 100 kilometers. Fuel tank volume is 70 l of petrol, what provides to go approximately 615 km unrefuelled.

The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the chassis through suspension «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs». Back wheels have disks brakes and attached to the body chassis with help of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the following measure - 225/60R16.

KIA Opirus is not certified for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to passive safety systems (side, head/curtain, passenger, driver airbags), it is also has dynamic safety features such as Traction control, EBD, ESP, Brake assistant, ABS.
