KIA launched manufacture in 2001 of cars model Magentis, modification 2.5 V6 and finished it in 2002. This auto has four doors, the body chassis is shaped like a sedan, weight 1.4 tons and length 4.7 meters, which can seat 5 person in sum.

«Magentis 2.5 V6» have a front-wheel drive automobile with a 4-speed automatic transmission. 6-cylinders petrol engine with «multipoint injection system» can generate output 168 horsepower at 6000 rmp, which allows you to accelerate the vehicle in 0 s to 100 km/h and get peak speed of 209 km/h.

Fuel rate is 15.3 l in the urban mode of driving, on the suburban 8.3 liters, and the average fuel rate is 10.9 liters per 100 kilometers. Gas tank volume is 65 liters of petrol, what provides to drive roughly 597 kilometers unrefuelled.

The forward wheels of this auto have ventilated disks, 258 mm brakes and fixed to the undercarriage using suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs». Back wheels have disks, 261 mm brakes and attached to the underframe with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 195/70R14.

KIA Magentis is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. Furthermore to active safety features (ABS, Traction control), it is also equipped with passive systems of safety (driver, side, passenger airbags).
