Jaguar started manufacture from 2006 of autos model XK, modification of R and terminated it in 2009. This two-door coupe has a length of 4.8 meters, weight 1.7 tons and is assigned to fit 4 men including the driver.

«XK R» have a rear-wheel drive auto with a 6-speed sequential automatic gearbox. The 8-cylinders petrol engine with «multipoint injection system» can generate power 420 horsepower at 6250 rmp, allowing you to accelerate the car for 5.2 seconds to 100 km/h and achieve max speed of 250 km/h.

Fuel rate is 19.1 l in the urban driving mode, on the highway 8.6 l, and the intermediate fuel rate is 12.3 l per 100 kilometers. Fuel tank volume is 71 l of petrol, what allow you to go approximately 578 km without refueling.

The forward wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 355 mm brakes and fixed to the underframe by dint of suspension «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Back wheels have ventilated disks, 305 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs». Tires have the following measure - 245/40ZR19.

Jaguar XK is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. In addition to passive safety (side, driver, passenger airbags), it is also has active safety features such as Traction control, EBD, Brake assistant, ABS, ESP.
