Jaguar began production in 2004 of automobiles type S-Type, modification of 2.7D Sport and terminated it in 2005. This car has four doors, the body is shaped like a sedan, weight 1.7 tons and length 4.9 meters, that can seat 5 person total.

Rearward wheels have ventilated disks, 288 mm brakes and attached to the body chassis using suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Tires have the next measure - 235/50ZR17.

Jaguar S-Type is not tested for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to passive safety features (passenger, side, head/curtain, driver airbags), it is also equipped with active safety systems such as EBD, ESP, ABS, Brake assistant, Traction control.
