In 2004 Ford launched manufacture of cars type Galaxy, modification of 2.3 16V Futura and closed it in 2006. The weight of the car is 1.7 tons and a length of 4.6 meters, It is shaped as minivan with five doors, and can be placed in a 5 people with a driver.

Back wheels have disks, 280 mm brakes and fixed to the undercarriage using suspension type «Longitudinal arms, independent, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the following measure - 195/60R16.

Ford Galaxy is not tested for Euro NCAP crash test. In addition to passive safety (side, driver, passenger, head/curtain airbags), it is also equipped with active safety systems such as EBD, ABS.
