CITROEN Evasion · photos, packages and modifications

The Citroen's Evasion model came out from an alliance between PSA and Fiat known as the "Eurovan". This joint venture resulted in the manufacturing of four cars (Fiat Ulysse, Peugeot 806, Lancia Zeta and Citroen Evasion). All these cars had over 90% of the components shared and the difference was of only parts such as the badge, trim levels and front fascias. As the name had very different implications in English as compared to French, the model was termed as Synergie in the right hand drive markets of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The 1998 facelift also had the front grille and the rear bumper restyled. After two years, new engines replaced all the existing petrol engines and the 2.0 HDi also replaced the old 2.1 TD engine.
