From 2010 Citroen launched production of automobiles type C5, modification of 1.6 HDi Attraction. This four-door sedan has a length of 4.8 meters, weight 1.5 tons and is designed to sit 5 passengers including the driver.

«C5 1.6 HDi Attraction» is a front-wheel drive vehicle with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This car can speed up for 12.8 seconds to 100 km/h, with a top speed of 190 km/h, due to a 4-cylinders diesel motor engine with a «common rail system», which produce a peak output of 112 horsepower at 3600 rpm.

Fuel rate is 6 l in the urban driving mode, on the track 4.4 l, and the intermediate fuel rate is 5 l per 100 km. Fuel tank capacity is 71 liters of diesel, what allow you to drive roughly 1420 kilometers unrefueled.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 304 mm brakes and fixed to the chassis by dint of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with stabilizer bar. Rearward wheels have disks, 290 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage with help of suspension type «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped with anti-roll bar. Tires have the following measure - 225/60R16.

In conformity with the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of Citroen C5 got the higher quantity of stars - five, which means that it is a very safe auto. In addition to passive safety systems (driver, side, passenger, head/curtain airbags), it is also has dynamic systems of safety such as Brake assistant, ABS, EBD, ESP, Traction control.
