CITROEN BX Break · photos, packages and modifications

When you consider about the BX, it shared the same angular design with the hatchback version and had a Break variant like the GSA and GS predecessors. The head of design at Bertone, Marcelo Gandini who designed both variants made them as a coincidence during the time. In order to get benefits from Peugeot-Citroen merger, the BX Break shared many of the components with the Peugeot 405 in 1976, as similar to its stable mate. But, there were also some own technology of Citroen used in the model as disc brakes all around, hydro-pneumatic self-leaving suspension and plastic body panels at the numerous range. The facelift of the model made this to add with some more features such as smoked taillights, white frontal indicators and front bumper with different designs, in 1989.
