From 2009 BMW launched production of automobiles type Z4 Roadster, modification of sDrive23i and finished it in 2011. This 2-door cabriolet has a length of 4.2 meters, weight 1.4 tons and is designed to sit 2 people including the driver.

«Z4 Roadster sDrive23i» have a rear-wheel drive car with a 6-speed sequential automatic gear shift. The 6-cylinders petrol motor engine with «direct injection fuel system» can generate power 204 hp at 6400 rmp, allowing you to accelerate the auto for 7.3 s to 100 km/h and achieve ceiling speed of 239 km/h.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and fixed to the underframe using suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Rear wheels have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and attached to the undercarriage by dint of suspension «Longitudinal arms, independent, coil springs». Tires have the following size - 225/45R17.

BMW Z4 Roadster is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to passive safety systems (passenger, side, driver airbags), it is also has dynamic systems of safety such as ESP, ABS, Brake assistant, EBD, Traction control.
