The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 385 mm brakes and attached to the underframe with help of suspension «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Rear wheels have ventilated disks, 385 mm brakes and attached to the underframe using suspension type «Multilink, pneumatic» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the following size - 255/50R19.

BMW X6 is not tested for crash test Euro NCAP. Furthermore to dynamic safety (ESP, Traction control, EBD, ABS, Brake assistant), it is also equipped with passive safety systems (side, passenger, driver, head/curtain airbags).
