Although the new BMW small SUV model is one of the best cars in class, its first generation , which has a build quality that is below average , an awkward design and an unsatisfactory off road ability, is not impressive. The X3 is different because it has an exterior that looks like the bigger BMW X5, three diesel engines, which are powerful and refined, and very low CO2 emissions owing to BMW's Efficient Dynamics start/stop technology. Stiffened suspensions, a silver grille finish, bigger wheels, lower and wider bumpers are ideal for pumped up M Sport versions. All models have all the equipment while the cabin is attractive on the inside even though it is simple. They include things such as a 6.5-inch color screen that has the 'iDrive' infotainment system, automatic headlights, and cruise control and leather seats.

As compared to off roaders and most saloons, the X3 has a brilliant handle and a unique agility for cornering. The two six cylinder models, which have 258 bhp and 313 bhp respectively, do not only have an average performance of 0-62 mph in 5.8 seconds for the 313bhp but they also offer ultimate refinement because they are very smooth.

The new X3 model is at the same level with the Audi, which is its competitor, thanks to its fit and finish and more solid build. Hence, its previous version was never recalled. Dynamic brake assist, traction control, hill start assist and hill descent control for the navigation of steeper gradients, are some of the various electronic safety kits that the X3 comes with. As compared to the previous model, the inside of the X3 is more spacious because it is wider, taller, and longer. Although its tall transmission tunnel may discourage them from staying in its middle seat for a long time, three adults can sit comfortably in the rear of the X3 because it has sufficient head and leg room. Its maximum 1,600-liter boot is much smaller as compared to that of its competitors such as the Land Rover Freelander when its owners fold down its rear seats. However, they can easily carry weird items such as bikes thanks to its 40/20/40 split seat arrangement, which offers a handy option. It can carry a maximum of 2,400 kgs behind it in a braked trailer because it is specially designed for towing purposes.
