In 2010 BMW started manufacture of cars type X1, modification of sDrive18i and closed it in 2011. This car has five doors, the body is shaped like a SUV & Crossover, weight 1.4 tons and length 4.5 meters, which can seat 5 person total.

«X1 sDrive18i» auto with a 6-speed sequential automatic transmission is fitted to the rear-wheels. 4-cylinders petrol motor engine with «multipoint injection system» can generate power 150 horsepower at 6400 rmp, allowing you to accelerate the vehicle in 10.4 seconds to 100 km/h and reach maximum speed of 200 km/h.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks, 312 mm brakes and attached to the chassis with help of suspension «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped anti-roll bar. Rear wheels have ventilated disks, 300 mm brakes and fixed to the body chassis by dint of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped stabilizer bar. Tires have the following dimensions - 225/50R17.

According to the results of Euro NCAP crash test, this model of BMW X1 received the maximal quantity of stars - five, which indicates that it is a perfect safe automobile. In addition to dynamic systems of safety (Brake assistant, ABS, ESP, Traction control, EBD), it is also has passive safety systems (head/curtain, driver, side, passenger airbags).
