From 1986 BMW launched production of cars type 7-series, modification of 730i and closed it in 1994. This 4-door sedan has a length of 4.9 meters, weight 1.6 tons and is designed to sit 5 person total.

«7-series 730i» vehicle with a 4-speed automatic transmission is connected to the rear-wheels. This car can be accelerated for 10.6 s to 100 km/h, with a top speed of 222 km/h, due to a 6-cylinders petrol motor with a «multipoint injection system», which generate a max power of 188 hp at 5800 rpm.

The front wheels of this model have ventilated disks brakes and attached to the body chassis with help of suspension type «MacPherson, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Back wheels have ventilated disks brakes and fixed to the undercarriage using suspension «Longitudinal arms, independent, coil springs» and equipped with sway bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 205/65VR15.

BMW 7-series is not examined for crash test Euro NCAP. In addition to dynamic safety features (ABS), it is also equipped with passive safety features (passenger, driver airbags).
