The Audi A5 catches the eye instantly though its modest elegance. Following the footsteps of the A5 Coupe, this four seat drop top is a mixture of decent performance and intelligent design paired with economical running costs. Also the fabric roof takes lesser space to stow thus providing a much bigger boot compared to A5 Cabriolet arch rival model the BMW Convertible 3 Series. The diesel engines art entry level is flexible at 2.0 litre whereas 242 bhp and 201 bhp units of 3.0 litre are also available to choose from. Both transmissions of automatic and manual are available in both front four wheel drive and front drive. The A5 Cabriolet at cornering offers considerable grip though the steering is somewhat fuzzy which makes it real hard to predict what is going on ahead with the front wheels. The top Spec S Line models and the models with optional alloys of large diameters however offer a painfully hard ride.
