The Audi 200 model was termed as an enhanced and enhanced variation of the Audi 100 model and was introduced in 1983 as a third generation edition. The body configurations made available in this model included the saloon cum sedan model and the estate cum wagon model. To follow the tradition of powerful variants established by the original Audi 100 models The 200 models of Audi received their initial engine upgrade after two years of launch. All the model's 2.2 litre engine units attributed better power ratings and started to deliver 220 hp from the previous 165 hp. The internal and external design of the Audi 200 Avant however was the exact same as the initial version of 1983.
