Audi AG is a well-known automobile company. The main directions of company's work are design, development, production and sale of premium automobiles in different countries. Audi AG is an owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG. It belongs to it on 99.55%. The company is occupied with development, manufacture and selling cars and engines. The Audi Group includes two famous brands: the Audi and Lamborghini ones.

The worldwide network of Audi sites contains the two German motorcar works in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm, as well as seven production facilities in European (Hungary, Belgium, Slovakia, Spain) and Asian (China, India, Indonesia) countries. Moreover, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. is a 100% owned subsidiary of AUDI AG. All this companies stick to the same motto which sounds in the following way: "One name, one standard, everywhere". The company also produces such important products as vehicles and engines for its parent company and several other brands embraced by the parent company. They are Bentley, Skoda, Seat and others.

Audi AG has its headquarters in Ingolstadt (Germany). It caters for its central brand Audi for the purpose of promoting its Strategy 2020. The company has large-scale plans to develop its manufacture. At present Audi AG is converting the site in Gyor (Hungary), into a fully-fledged motorcar works. It will be a place for building a new member of the A3 family since 2013. The company also projects to work out an SUV (sport utility vehicle) model at a new motorcar works in Mexico from 2016.

Audi Company is a worldwide company which has its representations in 110 countries all over the world. It is also one of the oldest auto manufactures in the world. It occupies not only with producing passenger cars, but Audi also took part in motor sports and won a lot of races and got many awards.

The company name was created on basis of the surname of its promoter, August Horch. "Horch" means "listen", but in translating into Latin we get "Audi". The company's logo is four rings, which symbolizes four car companies that merged together to found the company. Audi has its creative slogan - VorsprungdurchTechnik, that means "Advancement through Technology". The company has changed the slogan into more advanced "Truth in Engineering" in the USA lately.
