BMW launched manufacture in 2010 of autos model X5, modification of xDrive50i High Executive. This five-door SUV & Crossover has a length of 4.9 meters, weight 2.2 tons and is assigned to fit 57 passengers including the driver.

«X5 xDrive50i High Executive» automobile with a 8-speed sequential automatic gearbox is connected to the full wheels. This vehicle can be accelerated for 5.5 s to 100 km/h, with a top speed of 250 km/h, due to a 8-cylinders petrol engine with a «multipoint injection system», which produce a maximum power of 407 hp at 5500 rpm.

Fuel tank capacity of this car is 85 l of petrol, so when mixed fuel consumption is 12.5 l per 100 km (9.6 l on the track, 17.5 l in the city), what allows to go about 680 kilometers without refueling.

The forward wheels of this car have ventilated disks, 385 mm brakes and fixed to the underframe by dint of suspension type «Double wishbone, independent, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Rear wheels have ventilated disks, 345 mm brakes and fixed to the undercarriage with help of suspension «Multilink, coil springs» and equipped sway bar. Tires have the next dimensions - 255/50R19.

BMW X5 is not tested for crash test Euro NCAP. Furthermore to passive systems of safety (head/curtain, side, passenger, driver airbags), it is also equipped with active safety features such as Brake assistant, Traction control, ESP, EBD, ABS.
